I'm only running Monit on my OPNsense box, because it lets you configure some really specific conditions to watch/ trigger notifications for, and that was important for my firewall. I like monit because it’s simple, and has an easy web interface. And monitor and alert for other things like connection loss (WAN/LAN) and more.
